Test Examination Proctor (Current Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – June 10, 2017
As a 5yr City Official I can attest that working with the City of Los Angeles is great place to build a career. There is a wide variety of opportunities one can pursue, from public admin, postal workers, deputies, and many more respectable roles that help make this beautiful city operate. The City invests heavily in personal/professional development so that enables one to move up the "ladder". A communal environment that start with the tone at the top all the way to down to the staff-level. My greatest benefit in working with the City is the network I've been able to build that will open doors and many more opportunities to me in the future.

Working for the city of Los Angeles (Port of L.A.) was a tremendous experience. Although we were budgeted (reason for being layed-off) i was able to learn a lot from construction, tree trimming, gardening, painting to office work e.g. pay-roll, time-sheets and ship and receiving, i did it all. There was really nothing hard about the job when your enjoying what your doing. Most enjoyable i would say was pretty much everything form work hours to pay to the people.
