Pros: learning and working on all different types of systems
Cons: lack of staffing, being required to be on a non rotational oncall 24/7/365
Typical day consisted of Project meetings, O&M, Customer interactions, planning/production work on different systems. Gained wealth of knowledge on IT Systems and IT Management. The hardest part of the job was the non-rotational 24/7 support. The most enjoyable part was earning about all the different systems and working with numerous great people.
