2 to 3 weeks just for an interview after job closes. If interviewed and offered the job, that can be up to a month depending on the department and management. Very slow and old school hiring processs. Pathetic!

There's a lot of people applying for jobs like that. I don't think something like a misdemeanor would necessarily disqualify you (depending on whether the offense would be related to your work) but with so many other applicants going after the same position it will certainly make you easy to be passed over.
