fun
Athletic Coordinator & Teachers Assistant (Current Employee), Seaside, CAJune 27, 2013
Pros: fun with kids, decent pay
Cons: too many coordinators who are always competing to be the "chief of the camp"
You get to run around and play with children all day M-F 8am-6pm, it is decent pay, full 40 a week some weeks a little more because of special events. you literally are being paid to play and keep the kids safe

Productive, learned great trade, great trainers, fair work place
Park Maintenance Worker 1 (Former Employee), Seaside,Ca 93955September 21, 2012
A typical day at work consisted of monring meetings, assinged different jobs at different sites, supervise GA's, work on demotlions and remodels of parks and street medians with a varity of heavy equipment and small equipment. Respond to emergency calls when needed for natural disasters, and accidents throughout the city. I learned many trades pertaining to park maintenance and other city operations. Management at the City had good communication with my co-workers and myself. The hardest part of my job at the City of Seaside was working with the GA's as they sometimes had personal issues that would delay our job. The most enjoyable part of my job was operatating and running the heavy and small equipment.
