Miami-Dade County Mosquito Control Contractor. (Current Employee) – Miami, FL – January 27, 2017
What a great way to serve my city with a great team every day, going in and taking control of a horrible virus, i.e Zika. Clarke is always showing respect and love towards all the employees and constantly assist us the best they can. Great work environment.
Fun and friendly work environment for seasonal crew
Seasonal Laboratory and Field Technician (Former Employee) – Roselle, IL – February 6, 2016
You start very early in the morning (before or around 6 am) but your work day concludes in the early afternoon which is nice. You learn so much about mosquitoes and the environmental impact they hold. It's a part of science you don't really think about but it was all interesting. The seasonal crew are all very nice and friendly and would help you with anything if you asked. Very welcoming place overall. The lab director is very hard working and accommodating. The hardest part of the job will be the early hours and spending time with a lot of bugs. But the most enjoyable part will be learning so much from so many wonderful people.
Good pay, lunch breaks, friendly coworkers, getting to be outside, work shift ends in the afternoon
Getting up super early, being around a lot of mosquitoes, no real advancement opportunities
Field Inspector (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – March 2, 2015
Clarke is a company which focuses on controlling mosquito populations. I was responsible for driving around the greater chicago area and sampling various bodies of water for mosquito larvae. The majority of the time I worked alone, but was promoted to promote the company's organic initiatives. The most difficult part of the job was getting bitten by the adult form, and the most enjoyable part was exploring forests and natural areas for water bodies.
Field Inspection Intern (Former Employee) – Roselle, IL – March 30, 2014

Great company, Great management, Liked my supervisors as well as my co-workers. The company made it fun and we all worked together to show the company how much we enjoyed working for them. We were all sad when they moved all office positions to MN.
Driver (Former Employee) – Roselle, IL – March 25, 2013
Great people and a awesome place to work. If you have any issues they are take care of right away. I work the night shift and that does take a little time to get used to but when you get used to it is a great place to work
Aquatic Weeds Control Technichan (Current Employee) – Palatka, FL – August 23, 2012
Workdays are long consisting of long drives to and from job sites. All work is done outdoors using some hazardous chemicals. The job teaches how to properly identify and control weeds, grasses, and algaes using proper chemical mixes. The job also teaches safe boat and ATV handling. The management is great allowing flexibility in scheduling and training. Time management is judged by the employee and little upper management is involved with trusted employees. Co-workers are all hard working and knowledgeably. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the heat, rain, and other elements of the weather on a daily basis. The most enjoyable part of the job is the amount of freedom that is allowed in making daily decisions on job sites.
