Typical day would require lots of web mining for leads and a high frequency of outbound calls. I learned how to go through a full sales cycle, how to use salesforce, current incentives for energy efficiency, and tons of knowledge about the renewable energy industry. I was managed by a sales manager who was extremely helpful. Co-workers were all young professionals around their mid-twenties. The hardest part of the job was making your minimum quota for sales. The most enjoyable part was the office environment, we had an office dog named Toby.
