Enthusiastic International Marketer
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER (Current Employee), London, ENG – April 5, 2013
I typically spend the day at my desk or in meetings, BUT I am lucky to work with 30 markets across the globe, as well as with different partner agencies and I am also surrounded by a great and enthusiastic team.

Through my three years experience at Clear Channel, I've gained expertise in brand development, share of best practices, in developing and – more... executing marketing communications programs, working and briefing different partner agencies (brand, PR, production agencies), building relationships with senior stakeholders in a diverse set of markets etc. More recently I have been involved in events and though leadership opportunities for senior executives. I've just been promoted Marketing Manager, reflecting a stretch of my responsibilities and capacity to lead various projects.

I am reporting directly to the International Marketing Director who joined the company a few months ago. There have been lots of changes in the company and within the marketing department. I have had to be pretty adaptable and open to changes but very much enjoy how we now work as a team. We are all constantly exchanging ideas and I've been learning a lot from my co-workers. Learning and broadening my skills in marketing and communications, facing new challenges is what's keeping me motivated and awake! Also since I moved into my new role, I've enjoyed being more external facing, through events and through the development of integrated marketing communications programs.

I'd now like to gain more experience in a different media company. I am French and I have been living in London for almost five years and very interested to get a new challenge in New York. – less

Great place to Work
Afternoon Host on WSSL (Current Employee), Greenville, SC – March 2, 2013
Clear Channel is a great place to work. It gives you the tools to succeed, so at the end of the day it's all about you and the talents that you bring. Management is always there keeping you on the right path, but I've never been at a place where they also help get your ideas off the ground like they do at Clear Channel. My Co-workers are all great, – more... mainly because they're happy and enjoy their jobs. If you know what you've signed up for, there really is no hard part to the job, just the expected parts. The most enjoyable is feeling like you have made a difference in your career, which I have at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. – less

I enjoyed working directly with the on air personalities and growing relationships
Account Executive (Former Employee), Richmond, VA – October 10, 2012
A typical day at work was very similar to that of Media General and my current job with Impak Marketing. I focused on growing my business through cold calling, prospecting, and networking.I learned that my strengths were again communicating with small businesses and helping them develop plan and strategies to market themselves effectively. I absolutely – more... enjoyed the co-workers here. They were fun to work with. The hardest part of the job was keeping business. Due to the climate of radio sales, there is a large amount of client turnover especially when you are dealing with local direct clients who can not afford radio campaigns consistently enough for them to be effective. – less

If you enjoy hard work with little pay, THIS is the company for you!
Manager (Former Employee), Austin, Tx. – September 13, 2012
Pros: free tickets to tractor pulls, lame country shows, and local fairs.
Cons: too many to list...
Corporate Channel is a miserable place to work. Long hours, LOW pay, terrible benefits, and high school like popularity contests make this one of the worst places to work. Lower management forces you to drink the kool-aid, middle management takes zero responsibility for anything, and upper management thinks they know everything and refuse to listen – more... to anyone in the field. – less

Excellent work experience and environment
Multi media director (Former Employee), Marion, OH – September 12, 2012
Pros: constant learning experience.
Cons: those middle of the night moments, where you awaken with panic attacks wondering if you got it all done.
Typical day was very hectic and high stress, but extremely rewarding. My office began with four employees, but staff was reduced to only me......this kept me running, but sure made the days pass quickly. I worked with some amazing talent and clients with whom I still maintain great friendships that will last a lifetime!

Radio and Television for Metropolitan New York City Traffic
NYC Major market radio traffic reporter (Former Employee), Rutherford, NJ – August 13, 2012
Pros: pay, high visibility broadcasting career.
Cons: job volatility
Very fast paced, intense at times and performance driven. We service numerous radio stations in the tri-state area offering, traffic for both television and radio. Management is accessable and fair, co-workers are professional in a very busy work environment. Challenges inclued volatility of the ever changing broadcast market and the most enjoyable – more... part of the job is being on New York radio with high level professionals. – less

Fun, exciting and Active
Account Executive (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – July 26, 2012
Pros: flexibility, able to work from home, and creating promotions.
Cons: gas prices for travel that was not reimbursed.
Typical day at work: Correlating presentations, consumer needs analysis, and increasing Marketing to expose and increase traffic for Business Owners. In addition, I provided my expertise in new business prospecting, excellent customer service skills, development and execution of marketing and promotions plans for new and existing advertisers, following – more... through and follow up with clients during and after campaigns, collected any balances owed and manage their accounts with an eye toward producing creative results for advertisers while enhancing radio station revenues and profitability.

Learned: In dealing with small business owners needs and understanding how to increase revenue with creativity. Assisting and inquiring the client of their necessities with detailed descriptions. Creating a solid plan that is flexible and within the reach of the client so that it becomes successful within its growth.

Co-workers: My personality within my fellow associates has been effortless. I smoothly adapt with any environment and individuals. I understand that everyone is not the same and gained knowledge of different personalities. I treat everyone with due respect as it's a balance that is attained when consistently interacting with individuals.

Hardship of position and enjoyment: With every position I have acquired in life, I understand and gained the understanding, that each employer is diversified. The attained knowledge of my previous employers provided remedies to a majority of situations that requires insight. I believe that when hardships in a situation occurs, there is always a Remedy and importantly to refrain from pointing fingers. Self accountability is crucial in any position. However, I intake criticism very well as it helps build flawlessness in the future. In knowing flaws, it builds confidence and availability to improve future misunderstandings.
I mostly enjoy interacting with individuals and building a successful database with prosperous results. I enjoyed the flexibility this position had to offer and all the perks that came with the position. – less
