Market Outreach Specialist (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILNovember 4, 2017
This has been a good place to work. They care about their employees. Had flexible hours as needed. Worked from home some days. Managers were results driven, so as long as you met your metrics, things were pleasant.

Poor Management With Zero Respect for Employees
Home Energy Advisor (Current Employee) –  Lombard, ILNovember 3, 2017
The title says it all. Poor training. Constant changes in rules and guidelines. Field supervisor that spends zero hours in the field. Management rarely has contacts with their employees. Weekly meetings with little to no cause other than common sense safety briefings you do online courses over anyway.

What I learned
Energy Efficiency (Former Employee) –  San Francisco Bay Area, CANovember 2, 2017
Company went thru series of acquisitions and management did not seem to fully understand the uncertainty inherent in California's Energy Efficiency space. I learned it was important to be pro-active and take charge vs. waiting for direction from management.

Management is vindictive, unprofessional, immature, inept and incompetent. Very low morale among the staff. we lost our contract with the utilities as a direct result of poor management.

I was quite successful creating effective revenue generating software applications in the electric utility market. Management was in tune with the needs of the organization and were mostly responsive to solving the problems encountered. The compensation was good and the people were wonderful.
Pros
Great compensation. Great environment.

The company has a good ida in reference to energy efficiency. Work can sometimes be really redundant as well as monotonous. Employees are unpaid and managers are overpaid in my opinion

Large corporate environment, involved in many projects
Engineer (Former Employee) –  Portland, ORApril 21, 2017
CLEAResult is a large corporate entity involved in many areas of the energy industry. Work is very professional, and they are connected to many local programs, providing support and development to the industry. It is a good place to make a good salary and get great experience, with potential for movement and career development. It can be a bit quiet and the work can be a bit tedious a times, but overall I highly recommend working there.
Pros
great salary, career development, great office location
Cons
quiet, not a lot of company socializing, work can be tedious

Fun, at first
Energy Advisor (Current Employee) –  Cedar Rapids, IAApril 19, 2017
Let me prefacethis review by saying that CLEAResult has offices all over North America, and from what I hear people generally like working for the company. However, my experience is much different. Management structure is not great, managers are doormats to clients, people are not compensated for how much they work or the stress level, HR and IT are a mess.

Not your standard 9-5
Energy Advisor (Current Employee) –  Westborough, MAApril 3, 2017
Being an energy advisor at CLEAResult has been a great experience overall. With three scheduled energy assessments each day, you are given ample opportunity for success. Having to meet three new people (sometimes families) per day has been an invaluable exercise in communication/people skills. Sometimes you get along fantastically with the customers, and other times you encounter obstacles with relating to them. Learning how to communicate our companies offerings to all types of people has been the most valuable skill that I've learned at CLEAResult.
