Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) seeks work from emerging and established artists in a variety of media. CCAC's mission is to strengthen the critical link between participation in the cultural arts and successful, healthy children, adults and communities.
CCAC has several different spaces artists may utilize for installations and exhibitions. We are primarily seeking proposals for our Grand Lobby, and a large, double-sized class room. Both rooms are on the main floor of the building, and provide interesting spaces to showcase a variety of work.
CCAC is looking for exhibit proposals that will bring compelling work for installations of one to three months. CCAC also has a commitment to community-based art involving collaborations between artists and the Uptown neighborhoods of Cincinnati in which the Center is located. Submissions are open to artists in all geographic locations. Proposals may be submitted for solo, group or curated exhibitions.
To be considered for an exhibit, please submit a proposal (including suggested title and description), and a CD of no more than 10 images of your work. Label the files with your name and title of the work. Label the front of the CD with your name. Provide a separate sheet listing the images, medium, dimensions, title, date and suggested sale price. Also provide a short artist's bio with your work. Enclose SASE for return of submissions. Submissions with no SASE will not be returned.
Please allow 2-3 months for consideration of your work, which is reviewed by our Programming Committee. E-mail submissions will be reviewed only if they contain all of the above information as attached and separate documents.
