Poor leadership, poor values and culture and no work life balance. You'll kill yourself with this job and it will never be enough. No staffing in this office, unable to leverage work to staff because there is none and high turnover rate.

CLA acquires firms and doesn't take the time to understand the existing culture before changing everything. This makes existing clients and employees unhappy.

Great Start to a career!

CLA is not a Big 4 firm. This is a good thing, because CLA focuses on privately held companies. The amount of exposure you can receive is far more than you would at many other firms. This is a great place to begin an accounting career, and will prepare you to become an Accounting Manager or Controller if you choose not to stay in public accounting.
Pros
Very flexible schedule after busy season.
Cons
Busy seasons can be rough if you are not mentally prepared for the time commitment.
