Nurse, San Francisco, CA - January 14, 2015
A typical day is receiving patients, assessing their vitals and history, and then presenting this information to the doctor. Then after receiving further instruction from the doctor to accomplish them. Then discharging the patients. All while maintaining accurate detailed records of patients in EMR. I learned a lot from the clinic, and the need to aid those in less fortunate positions than ourselves. The management is amazing and works well to work with you in your schedule. The hardest part is hearing of the needs of patients, and realizing the limitations of a free clinic at times. The most enjoyable was seeing the genuine gratitude from clients.
