Standard job.
Impact Specialist (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMay 31, 2017
Standard merchandising job in retail. Friendly co-workers and average pay. Management is what you make of it. Closing at midnight is probably my least favorite aspect of the job.

Not a very good company to work for
Stylist (Former Employee) –  Miami Beach, FLMay 23, 2017
There was always drama in management, and they were all very snobby, except for the store manager that ended up quitting. Poor hours, had to pay for parking every day, and new managers would appear every month.

A typical day at work consist of checking emails from our corporate office every morning. Also checking on any incoming task that are delegated from our operation & visual team. Checking AS400 for any incoming shipment from our DC and transfers from store-to-store.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WAMay 14, 2017
Achievable sales goals but no incentive from upper management to go above and beyond. Too much busy work and bureaucracy. Headquarters seem to impose metric tracking just for the sake of tracking, with no tangible improvement in operations.

There were a lot of freedoms in this job. Management trusted you to get your job done, but would also check in to make sure things were going accordingly to the work environment.

Assistant Manager of Operations (Current Employee) –  New York, NYApril 17, 2017
Very customer focused, number 1 priority. Selling floor on a busy day will have you running around but the happiness from a client will make it worth all the trouble. Team always supportive of each other.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WAApril 14, 2017
A small Quaint Store in the Heart of downtown. A good entry level Retail Company with ok hours, quality product though with a good discount. Would have liked more hours, or possibly commission.
Pros
50% discount on product
Cons

Stock/Shipper & Receiver (Former Employee) –  New York, NYApril 5, 2017
A day at work was very busy, but fun and social. You meet people from all over the world that are interested in the merchandise. The hardest part of the job is dealing with difficult customers, but ive learned that an overdose of positive attitude can extinguish any negativity in one's self.
Pros
very nice staff
Cons
not many hours

very friendly environment, managers give good knowledge on product as well as opportunity to learn more, the most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know your clients. It was very nice when i made a connection with a client and they became very excited about their new product. It is even more awarding when they come back and remeber you and your good service.

Area Store Experience Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 14, 2017
Club Monaco is an entity of Ralph Lauren therefore it is a great company to grow with. There's a lot of upward advancement if you work hard, upper management will notice you.

Uninterested
Stylist and cashwrap associate (Former Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 22, 2017
Surprisingly, this company isn't interested in career mobility, associates would have to beg to move up, even after years of working, this was accompanied by favoritism and unfair scheduling. One of the worst companies I've ever worked for.

Freelance Stock / visual (Former Employee) –  Central Valley, NYFebruary 2, 2017
The crew was a big family and every one was so helpful . Doing recovery and shipment was my favorite part , as well as re doing the clearance racks they would become a wreck by the end of the day.
Pros
It's a mile from my house and the hours for my schedule well
Cons
Kind of a pace therefor there was a lot of free time

Men's Visual Merchandising Manager (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAJanuary 8, 2017
Good place to learn and grow in fashion and primarily for anyone interested in Visual Merchandising. Smart company using many reports to help drill down on what is selling and how to really get the best out of how to display product
