We have an opening for a Senior Oracle Order Business Systems Analyst with one of our clients in CA. The requirement is as below:
Job title: Senior Oracle Order Business Systems Analyst
Location: Palo Alto , CA
NOTE: Local candidates preferred. Face to face may be required.
-Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) acts as liaison between IT and business functions, to help build solutions that help operate more effectively and efficiently.
-Solution focus areas include the Order to Cash process using Oracle EBS and related customized Oracle Modules.
-Business Analyst will be responsible for managing demands as per prioritization defined across global business functions.
-He/she will drive approved projects through the standard IT SDLC and will work closely with global IT counterparts.
-Internal client liaison, managing project and enhancement requests as per priority
Support Order to Cash, Subscription business processes
-Background in Electronic Data Integration (EDI) is desirable
-Background in Aria is desirable
-Background in Subscription business processes - Service definition, price plans, service order and change management, provisioning, usage capture and recurring billing functionality is desirable
-Knowledge on Customer Entitlement and License Management is a good to have
-Define detailed functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business use cases
-Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops
-Experience in Functional Solution building in collaboration with Technical Architects
-Lead Collaboration Projects through the IT Standard Development Lifecycle
-Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
-Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be
-Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management
-Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts
-Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff
-Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary
-Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
-Minimum 10 years Business Analysis experience
-Minimum 5 years experience as Business Analyst working with Oracle (OM, SC, IB, INV and TCA modules)
-Minimum 5 years experience preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis
Some experience in service industry like SaaS/PaaS/Telecom/etc. with ordering, provisioning and billing systems is desirable
-Experience in building interfaces using Middleware and Web Services
-Well versed with AIM/SDLC/Agile Methodologies
-Technical knowledge of the key table schema for OM, SC, IB, INV, and TCA modules
-Strong in SQL with ability to troubleshoot issues via SQL queries
-Must have experience preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training
-Business Analysis experience in a high-tech (preferable software) company highly desirable.
-Project Management experience a plus
-4-year degree (minimum) in Information Systems or related discipline
-Oracle certifications would be a plus
