Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Racine, WI – March 15, 2018
A typical day at work would be to come in and lift heavy tractor parts and inspect them for us or imperfections. I really didn't learn a great deal of anything for my time there. the management was poor, mostly because they didn't care about the workers, as we were all through a temp agency. the hardest part about the job was lifting the parts of the floor or out of crates by hand with no mechanical aid. Honestly the most enjoyable part of this job was when i got paid
Assembler (Current Employee) – Racine, WI – February 14, 2018
Very fast paced and busy but as far as the benefits they are very good and the pay is very good also. If there was a downside it would be that they work you very hard everyday a lot of heavy lifting and physical exercise
associate (Former Employee) – Lebanon, IN – February 10, 2018
they work you till your to tired to have a home life. if you want to have a day off you have to beg for it. they find more and more little perks to take away. every one is leaving. management thinks they are the ones who make the money for cnh, now that over a 100 people left and more are leaving maybe the main office will have to do something!
tons of overtime. heavy hard work, very few breaks
Parts Catalogue Specialist (Former Employee) – Racine, WI – December 15, 2017
Dead end jobs, managers heads can barely fit through the door they are so big. Constant rush of everything, poor training. Unrealistic deadlines, managers always behind closed doors. Terrible work environment.
welder (Former Employee) – Saint Nazianz, WI – November 30, 2017
Although the pay and benefits were ok, the overall work environment was not. Management was more concerned about their own advancement and covering their own butts than making the company run more smoothly. Production employees were treated poorly and expected to put the company as their only priority.
Parts Technical Rep (Former Employee) – Racine, WI – November 13, 2017
Overall I would have rated CNH better but management was minimal and the training for the position was not good at all. I always had a feeling that when I asked for help on an issue I was having that I was interrupting the team leads and looked down on. The team leads are very knowledgeable but not good at teaching or instructing new hires on how to obtain information to perform their job properly.
On site kitchen. No time clock to "punch" in or out each work da.
Lack of training and support from team leads and management.
Assembler/Finisher (Former Employee) – Grand Island, NE – October 27, 2017
No job security. Some management look good on paper but have terrible people management skills an are more micro managers and are hired for a college degree instead of earning position. Always afraid of lay-offs.
Customer Service Associate (Former Employee) – Racine, WI – March 14, 2017
It was a job I loved I worked there for 8 years as a temp and 6 as an employee. I worked with a great bunch that worked together. I learned a lot of things about the business on the Agricultural side and Construction side.
Forklift Operator/Material Handler (Current Employee) – Racine, WI – January 17, 2017
CNH is an alright place to work, you have a week to learn your job when you start, be prepared to work hard, depending on the job you have. We work 10 hour days Monday thru Thursday and sometimes we work on Friday for 9 hours...Could be a little more organized in how they deal with the placement of the parts..We are an union shop..UAW local 180...
Nice pay, some what good benefits
You get bounced around when you first start working there, management could communicate more
Sr. Recruiter (Former Employee) – Racine, WI – December 7, 2016
Fun to work with! People all down to earth, and always welling to help you out. Was trained and had the experience of learning about farming equipment, and climb on them and start up the engines. Great opportunity to learn something new.
I would still be there if the economy had not crashed in 2008.
Good experience in tractor field. worked with great fellow employees.
Assembly Line/QA Assurance (Former Employee) – Racine, WI – November 15, 2016
Fast pace work. Worked as a team. Enjoyed working with the company. Learned a lot about assembly of the tractor. My fellow employees co workers we worked as a team. I was in inspection and quality assurance. I enjoyed working there.
Revolving door, ups and downs with the AG industry
Welder Robotic (Former Employee) – New Holland, PA – June 10, 2016
Used to be a great place to work according to the lifers in the plant who always spoke of the Sperry New Holland / Ford New Holland days. Now the company is in the grip of the Fiat group and has gone though several internal and external changes though out the AG group.
Hired as a temp. it was the "only" way to get hired full time. Later company started hiring direct through PA. Careerlink Job Service, bypassing all the currently working temp. workers
Gave them my notice two weeks later, and the simpletons had the nerve to ask why I was quitting.
Discounts on company equipment, salary and benifits for full time employees
Logistics Tugger/Forklift (Current Employee) – Racine, WI – June 1, 2016
Very little regard for their employees, which could be because they do not respect the Union. The wage is minimal for the type of work that you do. You never know if you will be working from one weekend to the next which takes away from family. The management are not quality people and need lessons on how to run a business.
forklift driver (Current Employee) – Rac – February 4, 2016
I have learned alot at this company, i learned that i have the freedom to change my job to work for me, i have learned how to successfully multi task, I have learned how to order parts, i have learned how to be an pool man, in which you have to know all the jobs on the line so you know what those jobs need on a daily basis.
