Coach USA, Inc. provides motorcoach charter, tour and sightseeing services in 30 states, Canada and Mexico. Coach operates approximately 9,500 motorcoaches, taxicabs and other high occupancy vehicles that transported passengers across more than 250 million miles in 1998. The Company's charter and tour fleet features luxury European style motorcoaches – more... with plush seats, televisions, VCRs and other amenities. The Company's taxicab and executive sedan vehicle services include dispatching, vehicle sales, leasing and financing for more than 3,300 vehicles that are either owned by, or leased to, independent contractor drivers. The Company provides motorcoach services on a per seat basis or on a contracted basis under which the Company arranges a fee for use of the equipment usually on a daily or per mile basis.
