As a Digital Strategist you will be responsible for direct sales to inbound leads and building relationships with customers by gaining a strong understanding of their business objectives, products or services and how our company solutions integrate. The Digital Strategist will also develop new client accounts as well as manage, maintain and grow existing client accounts.
A successful candidate must have extensive and proven success in sales and account management. Technical proficiency in SEO and web design and development is strongly preferred but not required. If not proficient, you must be able to demonstrate that you are knowledgeable in at least one of our core services areas.
-Maintain awareness of the current industry environment that shapes opportunities for client solutions
-Follow up with every prospect in a timely manner
-Learn about prospective and existing clients’ background, their product service offerings and overall objectives in order to direct them to the best solution - act as an adviser or partner rather than a sales person
-Upsell accounts by making recommendations to prospects & current clients regarding their website design and online marketing strategies
-Develop proposals for prospective clients
-Prepare contracts and create detailed scopes of work for all new deals you close
-Oversee proper implementation and “hand-off” of client from sales to project managers
-Follow through on projects from inception to completion and provide status updates to clients throughout the life of their project
-Provide timely and effective responses to client’s request for proposal or other information
-Attend sales meetings and training sessions
-Provide updates to management using company supplied sales forecast and tracking programs
-Bachelor’s Degree is required
-Excellent organizational skills for the purpose of tracking several projects at the same time
-Excellent time management skills
-Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Office
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure
-Must be self motivated, professional and positive in approach
-Ability to explain our development, SEO process and technical information to a non-technical audience
