Cobham Composite Products
Payroll Administrator (Current Employee), Suffolk, VAJanuary 30, 2013
Pros: we had every other friday off
Cons: the long hour days, the shift was 8am-6pm.
Cobham was a wonderful company to work for. Unfortunately the company has decided to work solely from our California facility so our offices will be shutting down. A typical day at work for me, include all aspects of the Payroll department. I learned more detail about the ADP System and the system called Made to Manage. My co-workers were great which – more... was the most enjoyable part of the job. Working with such wonderful people. The hardest part of the job will be leaving. – less

Composite Technician (Current Employee), Suffolk, VAJune 30, 2012
Learned Alot about aerospace products and composites. My typical day at work would be laying up parts on the tool and running the cure, then de-molding the part afterwards. The management was nice but had trouble with scheduling issues and would try to work there people to death. If it did not bother their time off then they did not care. My co-workers – more... were very pleasant but where over worked most of them worked 6 and even 7 days a week. the hardest part of my job was getting information there was a real lack of communication. I enjoyed all of the work and co-workers. – less
