Being with this company for 6 years, a lot has changed. We merged 4 years ago and the cultures have intertwined fairly well. I have learned and grown as a result of all the many updates to our systems and internal management changes. We are given the ability to be creative and work on our own. I was also afforded the opportunity to work remotely for a large portion of my work week; however on the days I do report to the office the commute is 3-4 hours each way. The most enjoyable part of my job is having the flexibility to work for a great company from my home most of the week. The hardest part of my job would have to be the commuting. My coworkers are fantastic as well, and our team leaders provide many outside chances for us to gather and share more with each other than work.
Executive Assistant (Former Employee) – San Diego, CA – September 26, 2016
Enjoyed working for CohnReznick LLP. Got a along very well with all of my coworkers. I learned a lot of great skills during my time working for the company. The hardest part of the job is when the major deadlines hit. Most enjoyable part of the job was the people I worked with every day.
Yearly pay increases, fun events
My position did not have much room for advancement
Associate (Former Employee) – Boston, MA – May 8, 2016
The Boston office is not a good place for lateral hires.
-little-to-no relevant training in firm's specialized industry -poor integration of merged companies -nonexistent leadership -middle school atmosphere of constant gossip and favoritism -revolving door of employees either quitting or getting fired -subpar employees -dysfunctional and disorganized -weak managers
Busy season meals provided, fun events and activities, volunteer opportunities
No bonus, salary is below other large national firms.
An exciting company to work for and management is very approachable
Senior Consultant (Former Employee) – Chesapeake, VA – September 22, 2015
A fun workplace with supporting management and professional environment. I believe the company is a place where they harvest professional development and growth. The projects are challenging and rewarding. The most enjoyable part of my day was the interaction with the client.
