The joy of working on the marketing/public relations side of the real estate industry, is that you get a chance to see some amazing properties and meet the owners. I have worked with some celebrity homes and non celebrity home and both products to me, need to be presented to the open market differently. Surround yourself with great people and great things will come your way. This is easy to do at Coldwell Banker. They deliver on the promise of being the local real estate company with an international footprint.

This company was fun to work for some days but lacked structure. They also lacked communication between the upper management and office staff in some offices.

Coordinated information flow with the escrow companies, loan institutions and appraisers regarding title documentation and close of escrow for residential realty transactions, and scheduled photo shoots of properties, inspections and the signing of loan documents for all real estate transactions.
Learned to to interpret real estate contracts.

Everyday consisted of prospecting for business which consisted of walking and distributing newsletters, outbound phones, working in the office greeting customers walking in the door.
My Co-Workers are great and everyone is willing to assist/support each other.
Hardest part of the job is working through the short-sales, some lenders have more astringent – more...  guidelines and requirements than others.
The best part of my job is helping people achieve their goals, whether it's buying their first home or achieving their financial goals with investment properties. Bottom line: I get to help people in my community and get paid handsomely for doing so. – less

Coldwell Banker was a comfortable company to work for. Consulting with clients in regards to purchasing or selling their home. I have learned how to negotiate for and maintain relationships with clients.

Do not agree with how management let me go. I was not told that I was doing anything wrong therefore was unable to correct any problems. I believe that my direct manager simply didn't like me very much. Management was also very high maintenance.

Sold real estate 60 hr days. Very rewarding but extremely difficult.

The best training and managing broker in the business. The broker knew exactly how to take someone right out of school and get them immediately involved in the real estate business. He was fabulous.

This is a great place if your a new liscencee to hang your hat for 2 years. The commission splits leave more to be desired, but it is a huge cdorporate business and worth the money to receive the additional education on marketing, advertising and being a realtor in general. I had always wanted to try this and you were constantly trying to get new listings and showing customers property. I learned selling real estate was not my path to riches. Management was good and friendships were formed among co-workers. The hardest part of the job was getting listings. The most enjoyable part of the job was showing property.

Excellent work environment. Still go to all the work functions. Had an excellent reputation with both agents and customers.

Each day I learned something new and challenging. Had the pleasure of meeting and working with all walks of life and any number of fun personalities.
