Medical Office Specialist (Current Employee) – Olathe, KS – August 8, 2017
A typical day is answering the phones, checking patients in and out, office projects on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Management does not like confrontation and coaches only through email. A coworker can be lazy and awful at their job and never be reprimanded or fired. The best things about this job is the amazing health, dental, and vision insurance. There is also great satisfaction in helping patients with their health care needs.
Manager, Medical Collections (Former Employee) – Overland Park, KS – August 16, 2016
Typical day was calling patient regarding their medical balance and explaining how the medical deductible works and if the balance wasn't resolved the consequences and choices on how to pay the balance. I learned to be more compassionate with people. Love the relationship with management, and co workers. The hardest part was leaving. The most enjoyable part was how much they cared about your family life and we had fun.
Radiology Technologist- Team Lead (Current Employee) – Overland Park, KS – October 30, 2015
The pace can change depending on what provider you work for and the time of year.Everyone is willing to help answer a question or figure out an answer. Advancement within the company is limited. Only further education will get advancement, and then you may have to transfer out of the practice to find a new position.
Large Practice with the right morals in mind but not practiced
Medical Office Specialist (Current Employee) – Overland Park, KS – May 26, 2015
Working for CPFCC is like playing a card game with a 4 year old. Things are constantly changing from one thing to another and back to the original; if this is what you like then this is a job for you. Management is sloppy and unprofessional; much needed work. Training of employees needs to be more concise and consistent. The people you work with are awesome and put forth a great team effort. However, the management is still figuring out how to be part of a big corporation and trying to decide which rule they want to play by. If you are looking for a job to just take up time and make extra money, this is great. If you want a career and somewhere to move up, move on.
catered lunches once a week, paid time off, holiday pay
no breaks except lunches, a lot of time on the phone and sitting down
Charge nurse/Primary nurse (Former Employee) – Overland Park, Kansas – December 7, 2011
I worked at CPFCC for 11 years, planned to retire there. Only left because of an opportunity that came up that I felt pulled to and it was even with a clinic founded by CPFCC. CPFCC was founded by good men. Although the practice continues to grow, they try to keep a family focused atmosphere. They do need to increase the management aspects, as they have continued to grow, their managment hasn't and it seems that they are overwhelmed and unable to manage everything as well as they could.
christian foundation, wonderful chief financial officer, and medical officer. good employees
