The College of Forestry at OSU is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications,
Hands-on, creative leader to develop and execute innovative communications strategies that will enhance the brand and broad scale awareness of the internationally respected College of Forestry at Oregon State University.
We will look to the Director to provide direction, leadership and creative expertise in the marketing of college programs, external/internal stakeholder communications, and effective dissemination of key research products produced by our faculty. To succeed, the Director must not only bring forward leaning vision for innovative communications strategies and tactics, she/he must also relish in the details of taking a hands-on roll producing work products. The Director will be a key member of the Dean’s team, will report to the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the College, and will be part of a team consisting of a writer/editor and a graphic designer.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism related field. Minimum of 3 years of diverse, professional experience. Evidence of ability to evaluate, design, and implement marketing/communication strategies. Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, and as a collaborative team member.
