Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Morristown, NJFebruary 24, 2016
My time here was a wonderful experience that allowed me to obtain advanced administrative skills. It was a pleasant environment where there was a cooperative attitude among staff and faculty. The hardest part of the job was the uncertainty as to whether or not your job would be saved from the massive lay offs due to low enrollment and financial instability.
Pros
Free tuition for your children and scholarships to sister schools if accepted.
Cons
No increase in salaries due to financial restraints

Director of Facilities & Security (Former Employee) –  Morristown, NJNovember 7, 2015
A typical day at work for a Security/Facilities Manager can vary. One must always keep in mind that customer satisfaction is important and every issue/problem an individual may have, although may seem minor to you, is not for them. We must handle everything as a priority because for that individual it is. Security and safety are also important and is everyone;s responsibility.
Pros
keeping busy all day and having the opportunity to work with various folks
Cons
none

Event Staff was always exciting to be apart of the activities
Event Staff (Former Employee) –  Morristown, NJMay 4, 2015
Typical day at work was always filled with the intensity of the specific sport being staffed.

It was always a great experience to be right in the middle of that particular event and enjoying the game front and center.

My supervisor created such a warm environment it felt more of like an activity rather than work.

there is no work-life balance they own you and expect you to drop all outside life
compensation is extremely low can make more at fast food place no raises in 6 years and no match in 401k 3 years
ONE SECURITY GUARD FOR ENTIRE CAMPUS, 24 HRS, EVEN WHEN STUDENTS PRESENT

A typical work day is like spending the time in a library but also getting the job. They allow you to complete your school work while being at work.

Employ research skills independently
Evening/Weekend Librarian (Former Employee) –  Morristown, NJSeptember 15, 2013
I would come in and work on assigned projects or provide Reference assistance to students. I learned to work independently with minimal scaffolding from management. The most difficult part of the job is trying to travel long distances especially during inclement weather. I do enjoy challenging Reference questions and coordinating projects-e.g. Hearrt Healthy Event.
Pros
excellent parking, great lunches for $5.00, tickets to events
Cons
truomg to come up with projects
