Law Enforcement/Corrections Deputy, Naples, FL - January 5, 2016
A typical day at work consisted of patrolling a district with the county. Towards the end of my career with the agency, I was assigned to a sergeant and we conducted routine patrols, bar inspections, community events and monitored the probation offenders. We utilized bicycles, ATVs and foot patrols to accomplish our tasks. The agency had outstanding management that would always push you towards improving your skills and education. They were always behind you when needed and were fair and objective when you conducted yourself in a manner not reflective of the agency's beliefs. In the law enforcement career field you have to trust your life to your co-workers, this was never a problem with my co-workers.
