Monitor the daily financial activities of multiple institutional properties, associations, retail shopping centers and office buildings
Prepare and assemble monthly financial reports
Analyze monthly financial statements and review of variance explanations
Prepare journal entries related to accrual-based GAAP accounting.
Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Review and approve payables and tenant receivables.
Filing of monthly sales tax.
Ensure proper coding of all invoices or payables associated with assigned entities.
Resolve accounting issues with property staff.
Assist property managers with quarterly reforecasts, budget preparations and year-end CAM reconciliations.
Review lease abstracts and provide feedback to property managers
Set up new properties and leases into accounting system, establishing new bank accounts and new sales tax certificates with FDOR
Provide assistance in new and old property management transitions.
Assist Chief Financial Officer with special projects as needed.
Must know MRI Intuit with Foresight Budget and Yardi Voyager with Karin Budgeting.
Must have the ability to work independently
