I enjoyed the work that I did. I looked forward to going to work everyday. My co-workers, and especially management made your work day a very pleasant one. I enjoyed meeting and talking with the guests. I would work for them again anytime.

A calm climate, with no stress .
Front Dest Clerk (Former Employee), LaGrange, GA –
Pros: will work around schedule
Cons: no health care, no raises or bonuses, there is only one manager
A typical day is checking in guest and taking care of their needs. Inproved management skills, you are the acting manager when the general manager isn't working. The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting the people that come through.

Fun workplace at times very demanding
Front Desk Agent (Current Employee), St. Louis, MO –
Pros: meeting new people, and working with great people.
Cons: little to no breaks.
A typical day at work for me includes checking guests in and out of the establishment and making sure that all of their needs are met. I learned to step out of my comfort zone while working here. I used to be a very shy person, which was not good for a front desk position. After working the front desk,I slowly but surely came out of my shell and now – more...  people get exposed to my bubbly personality up front rather than waiting for it. The hardest part of working as a front desk agent is not being able to meet the needs of guests at all times. meaning, they may need something that we do not carry, or they may need to go someplace that our shuttle does not go, we are sometime understaffed so on the busy days when I am working alone I hate that I am not able to be more than one person. The most important part of the job is meeting new people from all parts of the world. – less

Comfor Suites review
GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Former Employee), Kenosha, WI –
Pros: friends & family reservations at discounted prices, the many wonderful people that you get to meet
Cons: standing on feet all day can sometimes be tiring, having rude or challenging guest.
I enjoyed working at Comfort Suites greatly. I learned that people are the same everywhere, whether satisfied or dissatisfied. My first 4 years at Comfort Suites were the best. The General Manager that I had was the dynamic. She was a people person all of the way. But, she was definitely an intelligent business lady. She knew exactly how to do her job – more...  and then some. She also managed the hotel next door to Comfort Suites. She was fair, kind and very assertive. We always went through front desk representatives. It was both fun and interesting getting to know them. Most of my co workers were like family. We worked well together as a team. The hardest and most enjoyable part of the job were the people. I love people and getting to know them. ; but people can be a challenge sometimes. – less

A never dull challenging positions
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Dallas, Texas –
Mornings would start off by mostly checking people in and out as needed. Helping the main housekeeper out with the complimentary breakfast. Then assigning rooms to the already made reservations making sure every room was ready before the guests arrived the hotel. Answering phones and making reservations took most of the day. When not busy I would assist – more...  the manager with Quickbooks and payroll. Making schedules and translating documents. Dealing with upset guests and the corporate office. Setting up rates for groups and signing contracts for them. – less

not a good experience
General Manager (Former Employee), Grantville, PA –
The owner does not really care about the guest and their experience. He is more interested in his money! He offers no benefits and very little compensation. He lies and cheats.
