Sponsor Relations/Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  Waltham, MAAugust 28, 2017
This company has been great. The issue is that career advancement can be difficult to come by as people remain in their positions for years so growth has been hard to come by.

Productive fun workplace. Best benefits and work environment
IT Specialist (Current Employee) –  Waltham, MAAugust 11, 2017
CFN has the best culture of any company that I've ever worked at. They have amazing benefits more so than any other company I have ever worked at or ever even heard of. They offer some unique benefits that are unlikely to be found anywhere else.

The management and the positive way that employees treat each other are second to none. There is enormous room to grow and open opportunity to move to any role within the company. The flexibility in this regard is outstanding.
Pros
Best benefits. Best culture. Paid tuition, courses and certifications. Flexibility. Ample opportunity for growth. Bonus structure
Cons
Long commute to work

New Account Dept. is a circus! poor and unprofessional leadership
New Accounts Associate (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAAugust 3, 2017
If you are professional, serious and focused on the job, that is not a right place for you. They are extremely casual, to the point that it becomes distractive. They play trivia every day for about 20 minutes, and that is loud! and if you are not in a mood to play sorry, they don't care. The supervisor is the one that motivates people to play and they curse all the time. Some people of the new accounts team are young and immature. There are some nice people there that helps you and are very professional but the team leader is rude, the supervisor only talks to you if you are part of the "gang" if not ... not even a good morning.
The company is nice, but unfortunately New Accounts Dept. leadership is horrible, immature, and unprofessional.
Pros
good culture, good benefits, free brekfast and beer on fridays
Cons
daily goals, bad leadership, no parking

Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  Exeter, NHSeptember 22, 2013
Worked very closely with the advisor which allowed me to learn a lot about the finance industry in a very short amount of time. I was able to see a lot about the way clients and the advisor interacted, which was helpful in determining how to balance the advisor's schedule. This position was very conducive to my analytical and systematic way of doing business.

Don't waste your time.
Marketing (Former Employee) –  Waltham, MAMarch 21, 2013
Extreme nepotism and favoritism and gross inequities in how people are treated. Unless a member of HR or a partner gave birth to you, don't bother.
Pros
oooo free bagels and beer. great if you're 12 and don't expect respect and opportunities to advance.
Cons
takes them years (if ever) to do anything about managers who treat their staffs badly.

Exceptional Company!
Associate (Former Employee) –  Waltham, MAAugust 2, 2012
They bill themselves as "Anything But Common", and that's exactly what you get! Fun, laid back work environment. They do a great job at hiring really good people and that makes all the difference in the world. Unfortunately, due to the economy they are laying off a large number of employees right now.
Pros
fun work environment, bagels & beer on fridays, shorts & t-shirts all summer, the list goes on and on.
Cons
very low pay, prefer to hire recent grads over seasoned professionals.
