Community Medical Centers is a not-for-profit, privately owned and operated – more... healthcare provider with multiple acute, long-term care and outpatient care facilities and a full continuum of services to meet the total needs of Valley residents.
Community has served the needs of Valley residents since its modest founding in 1897, and has grown to become the largest health care provider with the largest panel of physicians, as well as the largest private employer, in the Central Valley.
Community Medical Centers comprises three acute care hospitals, numerous outpatient facilities, Santé Physicians (the Valley's largest physician organization), and Community Medical Providers. The system is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees that is composed of civic leaders, business professionals and physicians.
Community is also affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno Medical Education Program, providing training for medical interns in over 200 specialties and offering Valley residents local access to the finest medical technology and the highest service/quality available.
Community's facilities and services are conveniently located throughout the Valley to provide better access for residents.
