Job Description Summary
Performs special procedures such as multiple sleep latency testing, infant/pediatric polysmnography, ambulatory monitoring, patinet education and record review/scoring of polysomnograms. To identify normal/abnormal pattersn,artifacts and sleep/wake stages is critical to a high quality patient care. Responsible for generating a report that accurately and concisely summarizes the patient's sleep/wake stages, respiratory events, cardiac events limb movements, arrousal analysis and other clinical events. Works with Medical Director for quality studies.
Associate degree with an emphysis on polysomnography or Successful completion of a polysomnography program and certification by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologist (Registered Polysomnographer)
2 years or more of lab experience.
Supervisory experience helpful.
