Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative, Dallas, TX - August 12, 2015
As a dispatcher I would schedule and dispatch workers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones first thing in the morning. Afterwards, I would maintain contact with the drivers assuring the completion of each route and work orders in a timely manner. Communication was also maintained with all supervisors and managers in order to provide the highest quality of service. The hardest part of the job was making sure that each driver knew their route, had all parts of their routes organized and/or mapped correctly, and getting a working truck for them in the mornings. The best part of my job was exceeding the expectations of residential and business customers after something had gone wrong with their service.
