AWFULL COMPANY TO WORK FOR
Catering manager (Former Employee), Dorset –
Pros: going home at end of the day
Cons: to many to list
worked as a catering manager, senior management are bullies who have no respect for the staff. They cut hours and give you more work and expect you to do unpaid overtime, never got any proper breaks, low pay for the work and no chance of a payrise (in 4 years). Was promised bonuses, never got one. Rubbish menus made with the cheapest produce and try – more...  to sell at stupid prices. No care for staff welfare and use threats of job security to get things done. The HR department are useless and never gave me any assitance when I needed them. AVOID WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY. If I could give no stars, I would have – less

Food Service Worker/Cashier (Former Employee), New York, NY –
Pros: free lunch, the opportunity to meet new people.
Cons: short breaks
Start the day wearing my uniform, then making sure that all meals were ready for customers. fill all containers of coffee, milk, sugar, among others. Make sure everything was clean and organized. Check the temperature of all refrigerators. Ensure that the food tables were clean and ready for the food to properly be presented. Serve all customer orders, – more...  offer customers new products. Charge for all goods and most importantly make sure the customer was satisfied. – less

This has been a decent company to work for. However, I am single and need to make a better income.
Customer Service/Food Hauler (Current Employee), Howell, MI –
Pros: good benefits
Cons: wages
This is a good company to work for if you know the right people. I work at a small account in Howell and the opportunity for advancement is very slim to none. If you live in the Charlotte North Carolina area I highly recommend this company.

Director of Dining (Current Employee), Amsterdam, NY –
Pros: environment, working in a school setting. quality of life.
Cons: no recognition, pay not proportionate to duties, and declining benefits.
Over the years positions within this company have changed quite a bit. Was hired as an operating manager, job has turned more into full time accounting position. My strength has always been in dealing with the public, customer service.

Pros: free lunch
Cons: short breaks
I loved working with compass because it was a place full of respectful people always smiling (greeting). All the staff was fair to work with no matter what your situation was.All the managers were very nice. Also there was some fringe benefits that came with the company such as free coffee, certain food, and water.
