If You Get Placed Under A Good Manager It Can Be A Good Place To Work
Call Center Representative (Former Employee) –  Rochester, NYJuly 21, 2017
The job wasn't bad. The managers were. They had an overly superioristic attitude and did whatever they wanted. When you have a question they would refer you to your neighbor because they had no idea what they were doing and had no answers for any of their employees.

TECHINCAL SUPPORT ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) –  Southfield, MIJuly 20, 2017
The company itself was great but some of the trainers in the class portion should be more enthusiastic. The hands on experience was awesome and the staff were welcoming.

Concentrix is a very low paying, run of the mill Call center
Tier 2 Technical Support (Former Employee) –  Tempe, AZJuly 20, 2017
Concentrix is a fine starter job for someone just learning IT, the Compensation is low (but it is an entry level position and is treated as such) it is easy to move up to a better position though they also pay very little at every level

Good pepole always willing to help you succeed
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Fremont, CA 94538July 19, 2017
Hardest part of the job is the customers you can't help. The best part are the ones you can and the managers. The culture is one that is set on helping you to succeed, rather than firing you 1st mistakes. They prefer to teach you how to do it better. They will and are willing to mentor you to help you to excel and move into different jobs. I loved working for them and would work for them again given the opportunity.
Pros
great pepole and management
Cons
long as you do your job there are none

VERY unorganized company
Customer Product Sales Specialist (Former Employee) –  Work at HomeJuly 17, 2017
I was very disappointed with Concentrix. They were late getting equipment to me, the first paycheck was late and when it came it was wrong, and they still did not have our schedules available the week we were going live.

I felt that 98% of the company was very unprofessional and no one in management was aware of what was happening.
Cons
unprofessional, poorly organized

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Richmond, VAJuly 14, 2017
The room for growth is limited. It is unprofessional. I will say it is okay for a young person trying to get experience but not for a older adult trying to make a living. If they paid better I would still be there and if the environment wasn't so unprofessional. I enjoyed being on the phone and talking to the pharmacist because most of them are professional and your not getting yelled at all day. If you can deal with unprofessional co-workers than this might work for you. As I stated above for someone just needing a job for experience in a call center go for it! Always good to put on a resume. Oh yeah my trainer was good Gordon a little dry but he knows what he knows his stuff.

CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Work at HomeJuly 14, 2017
You'll be lied to about pay, hours are calculated incorrectly and good luck actually getting a paycheck on time! This company is a mess. If you can avoid this job do so. It will only cause you more stress worrying about how you will feed your kids or pay bills.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
Don't get paid when you're supposed to or for the correct amount

High stress and high turnover
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Daleville, INJuly 11, 2017
This company has high stress and high turnover not sure how I have lasted this long but have.
This company is not sure what direction that they are going and I am not sure that management does either.
The management states that they are going to do one thing and do completely the opposite.
Pros

Tele-Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Pittsford, NYJuly 11, 2017
This was a massive call center with too much going on, the quality control staff were too critical and the constant feedback was a bit annoying. They would occasionally have good sales spiffs.
Pros
Occasional free lunches.
Cons
Client expectations were too high for the leads provided.

Great "stepping stone" job. Good place to figure out your career path, if you are unsure. You will figure out where you will want to go, after you spend some time here.

Only lateral moves no raises
Senior Adviser (Current Employee) –  Warren, MIJuly 7, 2017
If you are fresh out of school and want to build a resume this is the place to go. Don't count on raises. If you are a seasoned professional... stay away. This is a pay by minute company. If you are late getting back from lunch because you were stopped by a co-worker in need of assistance... Oh well.. no money for you. A whole new meaning to micro-managing. Pay is substandard.
Pros
No complaints about management. Nice folks.
Cons
"Promotional opportunities" (lateral moves) are given out in a very haphazard nonsensical way.

Management rarely gives raises even if you take on more responsibility.

Systems are awful, can't even have a payroll system that pays people on time or correctly.

Stressful job
Technical agent for Apple account (Former Employee) –  Daleville, IN 47334July 5, 2017
I learned a lot about technology and customer service skills at Concentrix.

The workplace was laid back. Loved the people on the Wireless team and the Team Leads were very knowledgeable in the areas they were working in.

There really was no hard part of the job for me. The training was great and the support received on the the job was very good.
Pros
Insurance, Contests, Prizes
Cons
Shift bids
