Great Company
Director/Manager, Renewable Energy (Current Employee), Baltimore, MD – March 30, 2013
This is a quality company. Constellation is Exelon's competitive retail and wholesale energy business. It develops energy management strategies that help customers buy, manage, and consume energy.

Worst job ever.
Sales Representative (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – March 21, 2013
A typical day at work was stressful if you didn't make an sales you weren't as motivated about the job anymore. I didn't learn anything. The managers were money hungry and always angry. My co-workers were determined just like me but when you didn't make a sale it would throw of your whole day. The hardest part about the job was satisfying the customer – more... and not getting rejected. The most enjoyable part was nothing at all. – less

Great Team
Operations Supervisor (Current Employee), Houston, TX – March 9, 2013
Great team of colleagues and leadership. Hours are long and work-life balance is difficult to manage. Lots of changes, you need to be flexible to succeed here.

Excellent, good people and atmosphere
Contract Administrator (Former Employee), Baltimore, MD – March 6, 2013
Pros: flex hours and ability to work from home when needed
Cons: did not have the adequate number of back office personnel
Greatly enjoyed my 15 years with Constellation Energy. I had the pleasure of making many friends over the year, that I am still in contact with on a regular basis.
I started with Constellation as a AP Specialist, went to AR Specialist and then to Contract Administration. The ability to move from position to position is available and the knowledge base – more... is vast.
During my 15 years I participated in process manuals, form creation and 3 different computer software initiations. – less

Fun Workplace
Sales Consultant (Former Employee), Lombard, IL – February 27, 2013
The job becomes boring at times when you dont get any deals. If you dont get any deals, you dont get a check. I enjoyed working with the coworkers most of the time.

Antiquated environment and management style
Benefits Administrator (Former Employee), Baltimore, MD – February 27, 2013
Pros: great benefits
Cons: poor management style
Most of staff had only worked for BGE their entire working career so they were afraid to speak up about poor management decisions that were effecting their quality of work. Enjoyed the work because I like helping people. However, the management staff didn't have a benefits background so it was difficult to appreciate how her decisions effected the staff.

Best Energy Company to Work For
Account Manager - Small / Medium Commercial Sales (Current Employee), Houston, TX – February 18, 2013
Pros: great bonus structure, and health benefits.
Cons: small room for growth in company.
Typical day of work involves speaking to between 5-10 customers regarding their account with us. Whether it is discuss renewing their account, resolving an issue or answering a question regarding to the oil and gas market. I have had wonderful managers at Constellation, but have seen it hard to grow within the company due to a small window of management – more... opportunity out there. The most enjoyable part of my job is closing the sale. – less

Sales Administrator (Former Employee), Laurel, MD – January 21, 2013
Pros: multitask
Cons: information
Dont by energy . Make your own. Being part of business that doent see you as a person making money and a difference for a Fortune 500 Company and "The Company" doesnt feel they should pay you for the sales and all the money you made for them. Dont need a review from me, they speak for themselves.

Business Oriented Environment
Program Manager (Current Employee), Lycoming, NY – January 2, 2013
Pros: collaborative environment, good team efforts happen regularly.
Cons: long hours highly probable, local weather may impact the work effort.
Fast-paced, high-energy environment. Commitment-intense, deadline driven? You'll like it here. You must be driven to document your efforts, and sensitive to all sorts of deadlines.

Ability to track and trend information, hold business standards and management expectations at the highest priority.

Interesting outlook of the deregulated electricity energy industry
Data Management Analyst (Contract) (Former Employee), Houston, TX – November 15, 2012
Pros: pay
Cons: too much office politics
Served as a data management analyst that mainly sifted through data and cleansed it so I could forecast prices to send to the sales team. I learned how to process letters of authorizations, programs like Siebel and Lodestar, how to run macros, and forecast usage data.

Management always looking for scapegoat
SYSTEMS ANALYST II (Former Employee), Baltimore, MD – September 14, 2012
Pros: frequent free food.
Cons: incompetent management and coworkers.
Any time there was any problem, management was more focused on finding someone to blame and fire, than looking for solutions and process improvements. Managers lied regularly to CYA, and their managers would back them up. Although there was a dress code, management only enforced it selectively. HR made no attempt to address, or get involved when there – more... should have been obvious irregularities. I heard things got even worse after I left. – less

Clean, friendly environment.
Contr., Sr. Admin. Assist. to HR Director (Former Employee), Ontario, NY – May 27, 2012
Pros: great work environment.
Cons: long walk in winter from parking lot to bldg.
I worked there as a temp in HR as Sr. Administrative Assistant.
I enjoyed my boss and co-workers and everyone treated me well. I loved the interaction with everyone. I learned so much about the Human Resource Dept.

The most enjoyable was a project given to me to move the offices of HR from the Training Bldg. to the new Administrative Building. I am – more... very organized so all turned out well and my boss was very pleased.

I tried a night position in the Data Entry field and it was not for me.
Overall, it was a great place to work. – less

my work experience
Sales (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – May 25, 2012
During a typical day at work, I learned that what you say to people can make them change their minds on how to save energy. I Learned how to control a conversation when talking to someone by being aggrasive not Physically but verbally. I got along well with co-workers most of them even gave me pointers on how and what to say when you approach a person's – more... door. The hardest part of my job was stepping up to someone's door, because i was a stranger and i didn't know what to expect. The most enjoyable part of my job was when we had early morning meeting, my boss would make us laugh just to get the day started. Thats what i enjoyed most about my job laughs and joking before we went off to work. – less
