Being a consultant is rewarding and excellent work. There are many upsides to include flexibility, great pay, option to work from your house, etc.

No day is the same, Able to utilized all experience to tailor for clients requirements.

Wide range of experiences with different industries have provided greater base from which to grow business with future companies.

It varies but for the most part its creating and deploying emails, creating banner ads, ads and flyers to promote projects/events.

Work at Home, approx. 25% travel. Prepare detailed RFP’s for specific projects e.g. new career training programs. Research projects include labor market information, curriculum development, staffing needs, equipment cost factors, operations reorganization.

Being consultant, you are always learning something about a different field, how to integrate people, learn how to be very disciplined and organized.

Software consulting changes daily, and learning all of these new features keeps it interesting.

I am working for myself I don't have any other co-workers or managers. The hardest part about doing SEO is needing a good team who understands and able to work well together.

A client contacts me with a presentation topic, date or communication issue they would like to improve for themself or their staff. We agree on program goals that we work on achieving together. Often times, the client's industry is new for me so I spend many hours researching it in order to come up with a relevant program. I enjoy this work.

The hardest – more... part is getting over the gap between wanting to improve and actually improving (think of exercising at the gym).
