Control€xpert is a growing company in the automotive sector with over 300 employees. The companies headquarter is in Germany with subsidiaries in over 10 countries. Innovative processes and technologies help insuracne compnies to identify overpayments on estimates and onvoices for automotive repair processes. Since the founding oft he company 12 years ago, Control€xpert managed to change the whole industry. We are now looking for a .NET developer in the Los Angeles area to support us in the set up of a North American subsidiry.

Your Tasks

  • Development on new and existing projects using TDD/BDD in .NET platform (C#)
  • Participate in continually improving the existing architecture, processes and craftsmanship of the software development department
  • Ensure that the sprint goal is reached by cooperating with your team in the sprint planning, retrospective and review
  • Working on and refactoring the existing code base
  • Automation of our business processes

Your Profile: Must have

  • A degree in Computer Science or similar
  • At least two years full time development experience in an object oriented language
  • SOLID understanding of and demonstrable knowledge of OOP (preferably in the .NET platform)
  • Ability to integrate into your new working environment and cooperating efficiently with colleagues inside and outside your development team
  • Experience working with relational databases (preferably with MS SQL Server)

Your Profile: Nice to have

  • Experience with a test first approach
  • Experience with mocking and dependency injection
  • Experience with Design Patterns
  • Experience with web development in the .NET platform and/or windows desktop development with windows forms or WPF
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment
  • Experience with distributed version control
  • Active community engagement eg. contributions to OSS projects, writing blogs, participation in and contribution to user groups and conferences
