The SEO Account Manager is responsible for the overall implementation and execution of Search Engine Optimization plans, strategies and deliverables for our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge in site structure, coding compliance, Meta strategies, page weight, link building, site indexing, content development and social media as it impacts SEO ranking and organic traffic. The account manager will work closely with our partnering SEO and analytics team to integrate SEO guidelines, best practices and insights into the project planning, delivery and execution of client plan.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide SEO expertise to the business development team including the assessment of prospective clients, documentation, deck preparation and in-person presentations
  • Develop competitive analysis reports, analyze data and forecasts of accounts
  • Create and maintain SEO Best Practices for link building, site infrastructure and keyword research
  • Manage ongoing daily relationships with national clients offering guidance and consulting
  • Lead strategy and direct efforts of partnering SEO company
  • Setup tracking, advanced segments, funnels and custom reporting within Google Analytics
  • Understand & develop comprehensive site analysis and technical server side recommendations

Ideal Candidate would have:

In-depth understanding of search ranking factors, including expert knowledge in all of the following: site maps, robots files, URL structures, page speed analysis, crawler issues, indexing problems, algorithm changes, metadata use, SEO copywriting, link research, link building, back-link analysis, anchor link analysis, broken links, cross linking, 301 redirects, etc.
2+ years experience in focused SEO discipline with practical application of technical and on-page factors
Proven success delivering exceptional SEO results for a global brand and/or large-scale ecommerce site
Possess expert level understanding of industry SEO tools
Strong technical, analytical and reporting skills
Highly organized and great attention to detail
Excellent communications skills
Very strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office software
Experience with tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools
