Great benefits and perks but the starting wages are low.
Production Worker (Current Employee), Bloomington, INMay 31, 2014
Pros: great perks and benefits;clinic and on site fitness center
Cons: low starting wages and slow advancement rate
In production the stress factor is low, and I have a complete understanding what is expected of me. Employees who are interested can be cross-trained. In most departments management are approachable and knowledgeable in their given areas. My co-workers are friendly and easy to get along with. The hardest part of the job is getting promoted from one – more... level to the next, unless you know the right people. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with a diverse group of employees. – less

Packager/Loader (Current Employee), Bloomington, INNovember 7, 2013
Pros: good insurance
Cons: a degree means nothing but who you know does
Great place to work if you're eighteen years old because it will take you at least 15 years to make any real money. Benefits are good. Advancement doesn't illustrate equality.

Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee), Bloomington, INAugust 17, 2013
I inspected medical products for any defects prior to them being shipped out. The pay wasn't great when I worked there and there was little advancement opportunities but that's been many years ago.

Midnight shifts
iHop (Former Employee), Fort Worth, TXJuly 3, 2013
Pros: discounted foods
Cons: not always busy
I worked graveyard shifts so not very many clients would come in. I would usually start to get busy at about 4am. I stalked up products and made sure everything like tables, floors, materials were clean for the next shift.

Food Service Aide (Former Employee), Jackson, MSSeptember 30, 2012
Pros: great coworkers
Cons: no benefits
A typical day was preparing menu items for the customers. I learned how to make pizza and other menu items. The management was pretty upbeat and professional. My coworkers were fun to work with and each had a different family background. The hardest part of the job was getting hours and no benefits. I loved the people that I worked with.

Marketing Rep/Assistant to Marketing V.P. (Current Employee), Melville, NYSeptember 12, 2012
On a daily basis I am responsible for marketing new business and renewal accounts for the commercial lines department. Throughout my three years at Cook, Hall and Hyde, I've learned the value and importance of utilizing a team concept to handle the varied needs of customers. Management and co-workers all work together to uphold outstanding service. – more... It is a very close-knit office environment which is pleasurable to work in. However, at this time there is little room for growth within the organization for a young, motivated and challenge driven individual like myself. – less

When I was cooking at Captain D's I would try my hardest to make fish the way the manager wanted it. It was a fast pitched working area with things to remeber so you could succeed.
