Cooper Standard is a great money opportunity job. Which pays weekly and the start off rate is $10.00 an hour minimum. There is alot of overtime that don't include your regular 9 to 10 hour shift. There is training but very little due to fast past environment. Its everyone job to practice safety on the job as well as off the job. Co-workers has good awareness and always wear safety gear. The hardest part of the job is working in very hot area. The most enjoyable part of the job is making more than your goal so that you can be rewarded.
the pay is great, work is not s hard, alot of overtime
Are able to work a lot of hours and make a lot of money

The reason why I left is because the company had change the hours worked for the shifts. I was not able to work the new hours. Other then that it is your typical factor. Work hard and never get recognition.

A day at Cooper Standard is on your feet all day, working in a very hot environment on a machine. You can learn something new there everyday because you are sometimes put on different machines depending on which you are good at. Management could of been better. The co-workers for the most part are ok to work with. The hardest part would probably be the heat and standing for a full shift because my feet and back would be killing me.

over see the molding department as a supervisor they were all ways changing molds over due to poor planning then they would blame you for the slow change overs. New manager came in and it was his way or they got rid of you. he let go of a lot of good people the he was let go and no way to get back in.
cant never do a good job. they always changing polices to work in there favor. once you can make production on a job that's if you can because they got it set to high, they make it even higher when you reach there set goal
few suppervicers work with you on things that conflicts home time such as overtime.
always getting looked down on, can never make the department manager happy no matter how good you do, its always about cooper no matter what you got going on at home. its cooper or the high way!

Cooper Standard was a bright positive place to work. I enjoyed the co-workers and the availability to make more money in less time. The "parts per hour" availability pushed you to work better and faster to get more money and help the company at the same time.
You work as a team at Cooper Standard. People often helped each other out and management had a positive attitude!
Cleaned, inspected and operated hot mold machine. I learned how to work in a manufacturing setting. Management was fine just made sure everyone on the floor were producing parts. Co-workers were very helpful in getting me trained and caught up to others quota.

Amazing work environment along with great management that works along with you in order to obtain your best performance. Flexible work schedule, ideally you should be in the office during usual office hours but working from home or out of office is easy to arrange.
