yard agent (Former Employee), elgin ilMarch 8, 2012
Pros: good benefits
Cons: poor moral standards, no care for the environment, no care for their customers
Copart is a good place to go if you wanna get a junk yard car. But careful this company only want to get rid of their cars in any way they can, they have little sympathy for their customers. the company is out only for money not for the good of the customers.

lgv driver (Former Employee), sandwichFebruary 20, 2014
Pros: free tea coffa
Cons: early starts, long days unsupported by management who dont have a clue about diving a lgv vehicle
I worked for this company for a short time. I was very ill whilst working for them, this was mainly due to the lack of support from my supposed Line Manager but the terrifying lack of care, training and help from the rest of the departments 'management' team (I use this term loosely), also contributed. The female who 'managed' me was not fit for the – more... job and instead of encouraging & helping me in my first few months of work she did all she could to trip me up and cause me stress. I was not helped by the very unsympathetic and Po-faced attitude. The best work was held back for Saturday overtime or went to the long termed empolyees even the subcontractors before new drivers, , thats not the Worst thing, you'd get 7 cars to pick up for example Portsmouth, 8 hours of driving not to mention loading and unloading 12 hours in then you get to load again for the next day so your looking at 14 hour day. working time goes out the window then the manager would have a go out me for working too long. She point black refused to help reduce my hours told me to work faster, truck only goes 55lol that was the monment I decided copart wasn't for me. worst job experience I've ever had, shame as it could have been the best job ever – less

Pros: freedom of job
Cons: long hours
pick up a work order in the morning, being 03.00am, then worked out a pickup route, went to customer houses and garages to pick up damaged vechicles and placed them on a multi car transporter, then taken back to the nearest depot.
