Intern, Santa Ana, CA - April 30, 2013
This internship included graphic design, website content writing, organizing and rewriting company literature and manuals, and some data entry. I was given a lot of room for creativity and learned a lot about the organization. The organization has a sustainable model to improve the lives of low income families in Mexico by educating, empowering, and building community. Corazon construction projects bring homes to participating families in Mexico. I had the opportunity to travel to Mexico with the organization and my own family to install a drywall project. The internship was held in the Santa Ana office. I enjoyed the paid staff and the other interns. This was an unpaid internship, but it was a good first experience and rewarding organization to be a part of.
