We are currently searching for an energetic and innovative SeniorNetwork Engineer for Core BTS, a successful business transformation company, providing organizations comprehensive IT solutions from application development to virtualization. This position will be located out of our one of our New York Offices - New York or Long Island.
In this position, you will:
Design, architect and upgrade large complex service provider and enterprise infrastructures.
Act as a technical lead on select project implementations.
Execute hands on implementation of projects.
Perform network requirement analysis and assist with requirements gathering, optimization and upgrade assistance.
Communicate regularly with the customer, project team, and other project stakeholders regarding project management activities including planning, progress, issues and problem resolution.
Provide Tier II & Tier III Support for existing customers when required.
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
Detailed experience with overall network design and implementation within a Data Center environment.
Proficient in Network Routing Protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, ETC.
Proficient in Layer 2 Technologies VLANs, Port Trunking, EtherChannel, ETC.
Proficient in WAN Technologies T1, Frame Relay, MPLS, etc.
Experience providing post-project support
CCIE R/S is desired but not required.
Solid and demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written)
Additional expertise in either Cisco Data Center technologies (Nexus ICS and/or Virtualization) or Cisco Security (ASA\VPN.) desired
Must be available to travel within New York and occasionally elsewhere throughout the company's client geography
Salary Range $70,000 - $115,000
