Generates new referral sources, and maintains consistent referral base. Educates community and referral sources on all Cornerstone Home Health Care products and service lines. Works with Corporate Director of Marketing to ensure all materials and promotional events hold the proper brand/trademark. Meets and exceeds sales goals in order to continually grow referral sources.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Previous experience of Business Development in Home Health preferred. Business Development professionals in the Healthcare industry are encouraged to apply. Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Description of Duties
-Calls on existing referral sources to continually foster the relationship, gain new referrals, provide educational information/materials, discuss new product lines and updates.
-Responsible for calling on and developing relationships with potential referral sources within the designated service areas including physicians, case managers, discharge planners, insurance companies, professional associates, businesses, non-profit organizations, churches, funeral homes, and other as may be appropriate.
-Develops new and nurtures relationship with prospective physician offices, medical facilities, community leaders, discharge planners, social workers, community partners, current business partners, and other referral sources.
-Facilitates effective communication with physicians, referral sources, and healthcare staff; responds promptly and appropriately to any concerns and reports service recovery issues to Administrator.
