Daycare Assistant, Washington, IL - July 27, 2015
A typical day for me starts with, taking attendance to find out which kids we will have for the day and who we won't. Normally we will have 13 children for the day. Then at 9 A.M. we set up breakfast, clean up and depending on the weather we will take the kids outside. I plan activities and crafts, potty train and teach the kids their alphabet and numbers. Working at a daycare I have learned responsibility. The hardest part of the job for me would be the tantrums. The most enjoyable part would be the random moments when the kids do something funny or caring, whether it be making a funny comment or just coming up for a hug.
