I worked at another company through Cornerstone S.S. This other company was an off-site confidential information warehouse. Typical days included putting away the boxes within the dynamic organization of the warehouse. Receiving the incoming non barcoded boxes to the company standard and transmitting information. he business is owned by HSN, offers wide variety of catalogs to order from. In addition you may order from the parent company HSN. The company provides deep employee discounts,partners also with other businesses to provide discounted services. I was responsible for taking inbound customer servuce calls. I handled replacement orders, freight logistics, – more... interdepartmental communications, etc. The hardest part of the job is to handle the calls in a reasonable amount of time. The customers are very elite (upscale clientel) even stars. This often makes for unreasonable expectations on their part at times, presenting a need for advanced problem solving skills and empathetic yet direct responses that are in adherence with company policies. – less

Policies shift too much, made 12/hr for the fist few months working here until it was decided that 10/hr would be an incentive to work harder.

This staffing company is a great company to keep you employed. The company that I had an assignment for was a good company. The hours were good and the flexibility was great but the company lack training and it did not have much of a job structure.

Comitted to helping others and providing investment solutions that make sense.

Delt with small welding parts to be completed in large quantities for distribution.

I prepare the classroom for the clients to arrive, assist in them getting to the classroom and then do different projects with them through out the day.

it was a great temp job they got me alot of good jobs worked out at the car expo it was pretty cool

At my previous job, i would be there at 4am. I do my check of the forklift.. get on and drive to my supervisors desk and get the list of bay that we would be working at. Once the laborers got to the bay, we started going outside and bringing stacks of 4 ft. and 8ft pallets in to keep the laborers stock so that they could do their job. The hardest part – more... of the job was.. at times keeping up with the labobers when we were short a driver. I worked well with the other emloyees, i followed directions and took the advice from the other driver. – less

Cornerstone Staffing Is a great staffing company. But some of the places they service to need help.

Contacted Clients from Outbound Call Center to perform surveys.

A good place to work, staff very nice and helpful. They found jobs for me that were close to where I live so it helped on saving me money on gas.

As program coordinator I was given the privilege to recruit new students to a program that would enhance the lives of youth to learn values and morals, gain perspective to future planning for their life, work with a diverse background of individuals needing guidance through struggles of balancing life at home and life while in school.

Also this project – more... gave the opportunity to be involved in the planning and execution of various events to enrich student core values. The events and planning of these events also included being part of the presentation of such events. Through these events it also gave opportunity to build personal business relationships with local businesses and schools to recruit new students to attend our program.

The best part of this project was being able to mentor and counsel with students. – less

I was given jobs that were only about a week long and it wasn't consistant.

These folks will help you keep food on the table when times are rough they will help you to stay employed

Everyday the chance to help a provider save time or money or both is a good day and usually everyday was a good day. There are the odd bumps in the road, however, more time than not, it was a good day. As with any skill, the more practice you have time for the better you become at what you do. I constantly uncovered information in the course of any – more... given day that would help to precipitate the positive outcomes for both the provider and the company. My supervisor, trainers and co-workers all were very cordial and even though a contract worker felt very much welcomed and help offered when requested. – less

Long drive to work. Then go to my station after logging in. Talk to my lead get ready to start. A box of accesories to clean, fix, or throw away. I really liked the lunch they served.

Taking more than 60 inbound calls from customers to set appointments for hospital and doctors visitors. Must set 30 appointments per shift.

Was a truck driver at a Chino, CA company and it was a nightmare of a company! the dispatchers did not know what they were doing.... but then again they were never drivers. the pay was decent but job security was not.... but then again this is a temp agency.
