Land Acquisition Analyst, Chantilly, VA - September 24, 2015
My workplace generally has a flurry of things going on at any given time among the different departments. I personally have learned quite a bit here regarding what goes into getting land deals to the finish line. I generally start my day off by answering any emails and touching base with my manager on what needs to get done during the day. The most difficult part of my job is the lack of variation in my duties, as it is basically a constant process of research and tweaking numbers. I am either working on confirming fine details of a CMA or FMS, or making additional visual aides such as regression graphs or maps. I do enjoy the days when I get out in the field and get to see the competition's product and approach to architecture and community life.
