Pretty good to start
Account Manager and Business Consultant (Current Employee) –  Wilmington, DESeptember 3, 2015
Great experience builder. If you're looking for something to build your resume, it's a no-brainer. Work is pretty consistent to other companies, there is a lot to learn regarding corporate compliance. Good to understand office environment and politics as well as directly working with employees, customers, and managers.

It's tough to build a career and advance, however. Management is okay, decisions seem to be a little washy in my business unit; lots of changes occur fairly quickly. Great events for employees, but I'd rather have a raise than a food truck or free ice cream.

No need to stay too long. Put in a year or a year and a half, learn as much as you can, and find something better.
Pros
Good people. Younger environment.
Cons
Complacent, Not much advancement opportunities, tough to grow into other areas.

If you want to work for an unprofessional low-paying company, here's your chance. Don't bother going to HR to complain, they just don't care. Recruiter lied to me about the job.
Pros
can't think of any

too numerous to list

Deceitful work environment, mental breakdowns, not enough training.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Wilmington, DEMay 11, 2015
Employees do not get enough training and practice before being placed into their roles. The managers claim to have an "open door policy" and encourage questions and feedback. Many of us felt that we could have benefited from additional training to better help our clients. Be careful letting them know this: they take it as a negative comment, even though you are trying to help. Most managers, trainers, and co-workers seem friendly, but watch your back. Don't let them see any signs of stress, or else they report you to your leader. Company culture contains backstabbing and dishonesty. Co-workers will be nice to you in person, but will bad-mouth you to management behind your back. Position titles are a bit misleading: it's a call center and you WILL be on the phones all day, everyday. (No one tells you this until you're done with training). The training seems wonderful and you're excited until you see what you're actually dealing with. I've watched many co-workers suffer multiple mental breakdowns. There's very little room to move up within the company, only lateral movement. Getting a raise doesn't happen, even if you've been there over a year. Bottom line: don't make friends with ANY of your co-workers, don't express any questions/concerns no matter how valid they are, the pay isn't enough to live comfortably on, and you'll be forever stuck in a low position that's disguised as a great opportunity. Don't fall for it; look elsewhere.

Steady Work
Litigation Management Specialist (Current Employee) –  Springfield, ILFebruary 3, 2015
CSC is a good company to work for with full time benefits, paid time off and holidays, as well as a professional work environment with semi-casual clothing policy. The work has always been steady and no one has been let go due to downsizing, although there is no room to move up, you can only move sideways into different departments. Managers are hired from outside of the company.

A DE company that is trying to act fun
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Wilmington, DEJanuary 7, 2015
They are not that bad. You have the chance to grow but ever since the CEO left it was never the same. Its a fun place and you do have the chance to grow but like all DE companies the pay is low.

Horrible work life balance
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Wilmington, DENovember 20, 2014
Had to leave because they would not budge on schedule to accommodate my family's need. No room for advancement and poor pay increases. Management was awful. Very micromanaging and incompetent. Very conservative culture.

Would not recommend this place to working mothers.

The work is fast paced
Customer Services Specialist (Former Employee) –  Sacramento, CAJuly 14, 2014
The work is fast paced combined with a high level of attention to detail.

What I learned: I learned to handle time sensitive documents for starting or filing a corporation and submitting them to the office of the Secretary of State for further reviewing. Dealing with corporations that are suspended which included dealing with Franchise Tax Board matters to get corporations back in good standing.
I learned to process documents for Service of Process.

Management is not hostile. They are quite civil and professional. But not always fair to the employees when it comes to balancing your job and your personal life. With the exception of a life threatening emergency.

Co-workers are easy to get a long with for the most part.

Hardest part of the job is the level of expectation and pressure to perform that is placed on an employee being best described as " militant".
The company has extremely high standards for perfection. Unfortunately the pay or reward in return doesn't meets the level of commitment shown by an employee. The performance reviews are tough and difficult to meet as well.

But it's a good place to start if you want to gain experience to take elsewhere.

Enjoyable part of the job: I met wife through an agency the company corresponded with that she was working for.
Pros
they did do office parties for holidays
Cons
pressure to perform

Nice place to work poor management
Business Management Specialist (Current Employee) –  Wilmington, DEMay 30, 2014
Management needs adjusting. You'll learn that most of the time management has no idea as to what has taken place or is needed on the operational side of things. There is no communication within management. Great company to work for but pay is on the low end and again, management needs "MANAGING". There is room for advancement but more laterally; no increase in pay just a better title.
Pros
flexibility
Cons
management, pay, micro-management in some depts.

Pros
good cafeteria, strong teamwork principles, good employee relations, easy to reach location, free gym
Cons
little opportunity to advance, new leadership has seen a departure from previous focus on employee morale
