Pricing Coordinator (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – November 10, 2016
Working for Corporation Service Company is like no other. CSC always puts the customer's needs first and strives to exceed them on a daily basis. The management leaders continue to keep an open door policy and show they care by keeping you up-to-date on your progress and goals. Weekly meetings are essential!. I truly enjoy the company-wide trainings that are offered and the company updates. They give true insight into what CSC is all about and continues to work towards. CSC has not been voted "Best Workplace" for nothing!!!!
Weekly meetings, quarterly CEO updates, community events
Leader (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – September 26, 2016
CSC (Corporation Service Company) is a great place to work. We have a solid culture, making for an exciting and challenging opportunity everyday, and a team that works together to deliver amazing results to our customers. It is a very flat and vibrant organization, seeking to innovate and improve, so to grow the value across communities worldwide.
Work environment, people, collaboration, positive, customer focus, results, growth
Account Manager and Business Consultant (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – September 3, 2015
Great experience builder. If you're looking for something to build your resume, it's a no-brainer. Work is pretty consistent to other companies, there is a lot to learn regarding corporate compliance. Good to understand office environment and politics as well as directly working with employees, customers, and managers.
It's tough to build a career and advance, however. Management is okay, decisions seem to be a little washy in my business unit; lots of changes occur fairly quickly. Great events for employees, but I'd rather have a raise than a food truck or free ice cream.
No need to stay too long. Put in a year or a year and a half, learn as much as you can, and find something better.
Good people. Younger environment.
Complacent, Not much advancement opportunities, tough to grow into other areas.
Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you are learning a lot and that you enjoy the people you work with, but would like learn more to understand your other concerns. Please speak to your manager or call/visit HR to speak with us. We'd like to work together to make improvements.
Job Work/Life Balance
Fun Work Environment
Customer Service Specialist (Former Employee) – Tallahassee, FL – May 16, 2014
I think CSC is a fun place to work. It is more like a family operated environment rather than just a place to just call work. Every once and a while, the company will have events that will help take the employees minds off work a little bit to keep the employees from feeling overloaded at work. However, there is so much inconsistency between training and management. Because of their being so much inconsistency in training your lucky if you finish or can move forward in your position. If you make it through training, plan to stay because it is a great place to work.
Benefits, Compensation, bonuses, pay raises, fun work environment
Inconsistency in training; possible termination while in training if metrics are not met, need to provide more detail to applicants regarding the training process so can know what to expect
Account Specialist (Former Employee) – Wilmington, DE – July 19, 2013
CSC is a great place to work overall. There is some training and compliance lack as it pertains to managerial behavior and protocol, but the people there are great! You can definitely excel with the skills provided during your work experience at the company. There are some bad apples in management that can target specific employees and make you feel unappreciated. If you work there under a great manager, try to stay with that manager as long as you can. There is no real consistency in how managers treat employees across the board.
Great team members, fun and relaxed work environment, casual dress
Litigation Management Specialist (Current Employee) – Springfield, IL – February 3, 2015
CSC is a good company to work for with full time benefits, paid time off and holidays, as well as a professional work environment with semi-casual clothing policy. The work has always been steady and no one has been let go due to downsizing, although there is no room to move up, you can only move sideways into different departments. Managers are hired from outside of the company.
Deceitful work environment, mental breakdowns, not enough training.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Wilmington, DE – May 11, 2015
Employees do not get enough training and practice before being placed into their roles. The managers claim to have an "open door policy" and encourage questions and feedback. Many of us felt that we could have benefited from additional training to better help our clients. Be careful letting them know this: they take it as a negative comment, even though you are trying to help. Most managers, trainers, and co-workers seem friendly, but watch your back. Don't let them see any signs of stress, or else they report you to your leader. Company culture contains backstabbing and dishonesty. Co-workers will be nice to you in person, but will bad-mouth you to management behind your back. Position titles are a bit misleading: it's a call center and you WILL be on the phones all day, everyday. (No one tells you this until you're done with training). The training seems wonderful and you're excited until you see what you're actually dealing with. I've watched many co-workers suffer multiple mental breakdowns. There's very little room to move up within the company, only lateral movement. Getting a raise doesn't happen, even if you've been there over a year. Bottom line: don't make friends with ANY of your co-workers, don't express any questions/concerns no matter how valid they are, the pay isn't enough to live comfortably on, and you'll be forever stuck in a low position that's disguised as a great opportunity. Don't fall for it; look elsewhere.
Business Analyst (Former Employee) – remote home office – November 19, 2013
CSC executes very well, the people are nice, and their benefits & severance are fair. As an old private company they are not bound to jump wherever the stock price tells them to jump, which makes them more stable and strategic. The flip side of that coin is of course that they are stodgier, more set in their ways.
Customer Service Associate (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – September 24, 2012
Day started at 8am read emails and printed out order numbers for the day. processed those orders for the day, worked with a great team of management and co-workers to complete weekly deadlines. all around great company to work for.
Software Engineer (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – March 14, 2013
It's exciting to be part of a company that is delivering winning solutions to customers and growing like crazy. People are encouraged to innovate and we steadily adopt new technologies that help us move faster and improve the experience of those using our solutions. The company is willing to invest in new technologies where it makes sense.
Management is trying hard to provide a high-performing team culture and seems to really care about being the employer of choice for IT professionals. People who can't get along with others don't last, which means you actually tend to enjoy your working relationships.
Teams work hard and you need to stay on top of your game, but you're not expected or in any way encouraged to work crazy hours.
great people, learn new technologies, agile scrum, growing company
your friends and family probably won't know who csc is (or will think it's the other csc)
Challenging, growing organization with a fun culture
Human Resources (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – January 21, 2013
The best thing about working at Corporation Service Company is that there are lots of opportunities to learn and grow in your career. We provide services that keep businesses in corporate and legal compliance. These services are pretty complex and are not something that I understood prior to working here. For that reason, you can work here for a long time and still learn new things every day.
It's a really fun environment where we have company picnics, food days, and gift days. I really enjoy working as part of my team- the people here are smart and dynamic. We are a values-driven organization where leadership is approachable. CSC is also growing- we're hiring 90 additions to staff in 2013!
growth opportunities, fast-paced, smart and friendly people.
lots to do (you'll work hard but i like that!) not enough parking in wilmington

Had to leave because they would not budge on schedule to accommodate my family's need. No room for advancement and poor pay increases. Management was awful. Very micromanaging and incompetent. Very conservative culture.
Would not recommend this place to working mothers.
Business Management Specialist (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – May 30, 2014
Management needs adjusting. You'll learn that most of the time management has no idea as to what has taken place or is needed on the operational side of things. There is no communication within management. Great company to work for but pay is on the low end and again, management needs "MANAGING". There is room for advancement but more laterally; no increase in pay just a better title.
Lead Systems Engineer (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – March 14, 2013
I have worked in IT for CSC for over 9 years now and still find it a fun and interesting place to work. The environment is very fast paced and there is never a lack of interesting and challenging new tasks to tackle. The culture at CSC has provided an evnironment where I have been able to work with a lot of really well developed and like minded individuals.
IT Manager (Current Employee) – Wilmington, DE – February 12, 2013
Many people ask me why I like CSC so much and what makes it different. I have worked primarily for smaller companies in the past, and always liked the closeness shared among the employees there. At CSC though, for as large as they are, you still get the same feeling. But, you also get the added bonus of a large, financially secure and dynamic company. The values and standards that CSC has aren't just paid lip-service and put up on a wall for people to read ... everyone here believes in our values and it shows.
financially secure, good work/life balance, great people
