What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Costco Wholesale?
What do you like best about working at Costco Wholesale? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

They are opening up a new Costco store near my place and I am thinking about applying. I looked through the descriptions of all the jobs available and I am in between applying for a cashier position or a membership assistant position. Which job is "less" stressful and more laid back?
If anyone here has worked at Costco and has any feedback to give me about these two different positions I would be very grateful.

Do you work at Costco Wholesale? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?
Any advice for someone trying to get in?

Hi, I'm new to the forum but I have a couple of questions about transferring warehouses with costco. I don't actually work there yet, but my goal is to have my roommate get me a job there in a couple of months (connections are awesome :) and leave move (leave Seattle) when I graduate from college. This would be about 6-10 months after I got the job. I want to leave the city, but stick with the company, so I'd be transferring warehouses. I was wondering what conditions have to be met in order to do this (since I don't have the job yet I can't really ask a manager, and my roommate doesn't know much about transferring). I would be transferring from Seattle to somewhere in North Cali. Any input would be awesome, this'll basically determine if/when I'll apply.

What do you think - will Costco Wholesale grow fast? Are they expanding their staff? How does Costco Wholesale stack up against the competition?

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Costco Wholesale?
Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?
What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Costco Wholesale?
