Financial Analyst (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLJuly 14, 2016
A place with some smart and hardworking people but lacking in overall leadership and salaries are average at best. Really just your typical corporate environment but with some management issues. Benefits are not the best.
Pros
Work-life balance, smart co-wokers

Decent place to get entry level experience and learn the ropes in a large industry. Low wages, no private offices of even cubes, lack of communication between departments, not much room for career advancement, and overall poor leadership.
Pros
Ok place to get entry level experience
Cons
Low wages, no private offices of even cubes, communication between departments, not much room for career advancement, and overall poor leadership

Been going downhill lately
Finance Manager (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLJune 28, 2016
Used to be an ok company however it seems that in the last few years it's been going downhill and upper management is out of wack. Expectation are unrealistic and general respect/morale is low. Hope they can get things corrected but it doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon.
Pros
Average salary, some decent people, challenging work/deadlines
Cons
Disrepect, trust, benefits, career progression, management style

Filler Operator (Former Employee) –  Columbus, GAJune 23, 2016
I worked for the company for about 2 years. There wasn't much room for advancement. However, the job provided me with great work experience.

Load pallets of beverages for shipment across the region. Co workers were fun and helpful all times. Hardest part was the weather, sometimes very cold and others very hot.
Pros
management would let you work without looking over your shoulder all the time
Cons
short breaks

Not a good company
Buyer (Former Employee) –  Columbus, GAMay 19, 2016
Good hard-working employees, decent work/life balance, lack of real leadership.
Global supply chain leadership dishonest and cutthroat, operating under an outdated authoritarian (dictator) style of management. Leadership will not hesitate to backstab and take credit for success. Not much opportunity for advancement. Compensation is well below average in a dying industry. Benefits not very good and company will acquire other companies and then save money on their debt by not investing in employee 401K matching. Very high turnover at corporate headquarters. My advice is to avoid working here if at all possible unless you're about to go homeless or starve.
Pros
Ok work/life balance and overall good people who work very hard
Cons
Dishonest leadership, No opportunity for advancement, Compensation below average, Health benefits not good, 401K matching

Great job offerings
Billing Coordinator (Current Employee) –  TXMay 17, 2016
Great job opportunities to expand knowledge in SAP and other areas of billing, but great lack of communication between managers/supervisors and employees. Training was exceptional the first month or so but declined rapidly after that. I was expected to know how to do my supervisor's job when they were absent but was not given the knowledge or education to do so. Upon their return was told that I was not doing things properly but was not given information on how to accomplish certain tasks the next time. Daily tasks were challenging yet fun unless management did not agree with how you handled a particular situation, even if customers and co-workers had no complaints. Management seemed to micro-manage on a large scale.
Pros
No weekends worked - strictly M-F 8-5
Cons
No overtime, no benefits as a temp

I would not recommend Cott as a good working environment for anyone. It's very high paced and you work a lot of hours. Expect to work weekends often and there will be times with no day's off.

Not a good place to work
Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Concordville, PAMarch 6, 2016
Number one priority is getting cases out of the door, not quality or safety! Starting salary is low. Housekeeping not important. Within the past 18 months the Concordville plant has been through 3 plant managers, 3 production managers, had 8-10 production supervisors, numerous operators, numerous mechanics. Training really bad. Throw untrained and unqualified operators on machines.

Unprofessional work place
Quality Lab Technician (Former Employee) –  San Bernardino, CAFebruary 28, 2016
Extremely unprofessional and unhealthy work environment . There is a huge room for improvement in this facility, but no willingness . Very poor management, employees are just another piece of equipment. Respect is an unknown term to most of the personnel.
The pay is not too bad.
If you are willing to work in an unhappy unprofessional place for a medium decent pay go for it.

Unless management steps in to curb the excesses of the plant manager the company will crumble.
Team Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Greer, SCFebruary 13, 2016
The Plant Manager in Greer is such an egomaniac and a liar that thinks he knows it all. It is a very stressful environment to work if you have a temper.
Pros
Unlimited overtime
Cons
Very big favoritism exists where most employees are redundant.

National Materials Planner (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJanuary 27, 2016
Stressful and long hours. Learned an up and coming ERP system. I never saw or heard from any management in ten years except for the enormous bonus' for management. Co-workers great and easy to work with as we all have same outlook on company. It's a job.
Hardest part of job is justifying your work every single day when no facts were given to question justification. Nothing was enjoyable except for when I finally left company.
Pros
made good friends
Cons
zero communication

Rewarding place to work
Batch Blend (Current Employee) –  Sikeston, MOJanuary 1, 2016
Like most jobs some days are good and some days not so good. Depending on the size of the product runs some days you are constantly on the go to keep enough syrup batched up to keep the lines running and then some times you have bigger runs where you can have time to do other tasks that you need to do. The management team's culture at Cott Beverages puts people first. Then safety, quality, product then cost. Co-workers there are always willing to help out whenever you need help. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the stress of keeping the lines going when they have several small runs back to back. The most enjoyable part of the job is the rewarding feeling when the lines are able to keep running without going done and knowing that it was all because of what you did during your shift that day.

Good place to work for. I learned SAP and improved my skills on Excel. I got promoted after 5 years. Management is nice and helpful. Most of the co-workers are nice.
