House Keeping (Current Employee), Westerville, OHJuly 7, 2013
Pros: making people happy with a clean house
Cons: part time work
I come into the office early in the morning and do things around the office like folding towels and printing off paper work for the girls that clean. The hardest part of my job would be nothing. The most enjoyable part of the job for me would be making the customers happy.

Cleaning
Customer Services/Cleaner (Former Employee), Milwaukee, WIFebruary 4, 2013
Pros: breaks
Cons: cleaning
I hated cleaning someone else house, but a job is a job. The houses are huge and you as an employee has to clean every room that the customer pays for. But i did learned that is you continue to prepare yourself for the day, then you would be finish and no time ( don't think about the work). Management their was amazing, its like you really work for – more... yourself. The most enjoyable part is that its on your time.. – less

You get to meet new people every day!
House Cleaner (Former Employee), Colorado Springs, COFebruary 2, 2013
Pros: meeting new people
Cons: no benefits
A typical day at work would be calling the boss every morning to see if we were on the schedule and if we were, we would go into the office and collect our cleaning supplies and the information for the clients home and where they lived.
I learned a lot of cleaning things that I never knew before and got a great experience out of it! The hardest part – more... of the job was probably the detail that you had to put into every cleaning job to make the customer happy! But it was worth it in the end :) The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to meet new people everyday and have the opportunity to clean their homes because sometimes the clients would just have no time to do it themselves due to their work schedule. – less

housekeeper/office (Former Employee), Oklahoma City, OklahomaNovember 19, 2012
Pros: money, people, driving 60 miles a day
Cons: people, driving 60 miles a day, dirtiest places i've ever seen
When I cleaned houses, the best part was I met all kinds of people: rich, poor, famous, infamous, funny, serious, cheap, and over indulgent. I made some really good friends and clients this way, but I also worked extremely hard to where I would be embarrassed of how sweaty I was, We had to be done with each room precisely, anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes – more... to a room. Then go back to the office to get reports and clean and put away our equipment. – less

House Cleaner (Current Employee), Newburgh, NYOctober 8, 2012
Pros: the workers.
Cons: the pay and using your own vehicle.
You clean houses for those who don't have the time. Some houses are overwhelming but you feel great when you see the finished result. The workers are kind and fun to work with. But to use your own car is a downfall. They do compensate for gas but not enough. The pay really isn't all that great.
