Pros: working with residents.
Cons: your pto, call off, high turnover, poor management, false promises
I have been working at Country Meadows for three years. When I started in orientation they explained benefits. I have been told if you put your PTO time six weeks in advance Country Meadows will honor that. Since than, many times I had put my PTO time SIX MONTHS in advance and our ADOW always gives me hard time. She said if she can't cover my shift – more... I can't have my time off. We are ALWAYS working short handed so you never know if you will get your time off. Also, we were told that we can't put in for time off in November or December because they don't have enough workers but management for sure get their time off. Their families are more important than ours. If you need weekend off , which you are entitled to, you can just forget about it. This is the one of the reasons why people call off. So if you would like to work for a company where you can't get your vacation and where you will be working short all the time than apply at Country Meadows. My advice, run and stay away from this place. I just started looking for a job too. This place doesn't appreciate dedication and commitment at all. Very sad... – less
